What’s your favorite part of working at a local, community-focused bank?

We have the ability to respond quickly and make decisions that directly support our local communities. Because we’re headquartered in Mobile, the money stays local, helping businesses and individuals thrive. Community engagement is at the heart of what we do, and our team is deeply invested in the people we serve. As a smaller bank, we take the time to truly understand businesses, offering personalized support and guidance to help them grow. It’s so rewarding to be part of a financial institution that prioritizes relationships and local success.

Given your expertise, what key piece of financial advice would you give to someone today?

I always stress the importance of having key advisors you can rely on. If you can’t get your banker, CPA, or lawyer on the phone when you need them, it’s time to replace them. Your bank should be a strategic partner in your business’s growth, offering insight and support along the way.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself!

I’m deeply committed to community service and take great pride in giving back to Mobile. I serve on the boards of several local organizations, ranging from law enforcement initiatives to philanthropic efforts, all with the goal of strengthening our community. Between my community involvement and what I do professionally, it’s rewarding to share knowledge and experience and help people, businesses, and our city grow.
