When it comes to financial advice, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer—especially for small business owners. Every business is at a different stage, which means financial strategies must evolve over time. One key piece of advice I always emphasize is to create a financial plan and review it regularly. As your business grows, your financial needs and goals will shift, so it’s crucial to adapt accordingly. And while it may be one of the toughest challenges, living within your means is essential for long-term stability and success.

I have never pumped gas. It’s actually against the law to pump your own gas in New Jersey, where I live, and in some parts of Oregon.
