What’s your favorite part of working at a local, community-focused bank?
I have a deep connection with my hometown and the people in it. I know my customers personally, and I take pride in being there for them when they need financial guidance. My passion lies in mortgages and farm lending, where I get to work closely with farmers and help them navigate their financial journey. Relationship banking is at the heart of what I do—I love being the trusted point person they can rely on for support and advice.
Given your expertise, what key piece of financial advice would you give to someone today?
My biggest tip is to put your numbers—your income, expenses, and overall financial picture—down on paper. Seeing everything in black and white makes it much easier to assess where you stand and what adjustments you need to make. And for my customers, I’m always happy to do that for them. I genuinely enjoy answering their questions, whether it’s a quick check-in or a more in-depth financial conversation.

I love to fish (both offshore and on the river), and my favorite fish to catch is redfish. There’s nothing more relaxing than spending a day on the water.
